STAND WITH UKRAINE Like everyone in the past month, we have been shocked and saddened by the invaison of Ukraine We didnt know what to do, we make socks so we thought, lets do what we can and create a sock to raise vital funds and awareness for the Ukraine Appeal.It's a drop in the ocean but we needed to do something. 100% of Profits will go direct to Unicef Ukraine Appeal.   We were so honoured to team up with Ukrainian designers Rostyslav Kliuchenko and Dariia Bondarenko, who created a bespoke design for the socks that incorporates the Ukrainian flag...

Did You know?  For the Wexford design we wanted to celebrate 2 famous wexford landmarks, Hook Head lightouse and Tacumshane Windmill and Wexford's sandy beaches.  Hook Head Lighthouse  is one of the oldest Lighthouses in the world and the second oldest operating lighthouse in the world, it has been standing on the Hook head peninsula for 849 years! In 2011 teh Lonely planet listed in #1 in the worlds falshiest lighthouses!  Tacumshane Windmill was built in 1846, and was used until 1936, making it the last windmill in the Republic to work commercially. It is located 15km south of Wexford town.

This design celebrates the Landmarks of the Poolbeg Peninsula, Including the Poolbeg Stacks, The Poolbeg Lighthouse, The great Wall and Sandycove strand.  The Poolbeg peninsula began contruction in the 1700's.The name “Poole Begge” referred originally to a tidal pool located out into Dublin harbour and is surrounded by sand bars. This was where the Poolbeg lighthouse was built in 1767. The lighthouse was connected to land by the Great South Wall completed in 1795. In this design we wanted to celebrate one of our most famous natural sites, the stunning Cliffs of Moher.
