Colourful Irish landmarks. In 360 degrees.

We are a small Irish design company based in Dublin, creating unique, colourful and unisex panoramic socks that celebrate Ireland’s beautiful places and landmarks.

Every Sock Co Op design is different, but they all share our signature: a 360-degree design from cuff to toe, creating a panorama that wraps right around the sock.

From Dingle and Connemara to Glendalough, Blarney, Dublin and Cork, each design pays homage to a particular Irish place or landmark. We agonise over every detail, drawing, sampling and prototyping until the panorama  and every colour within it  feels just right.

The idea for Sock Co Op was born after a trip to the spectacular Skellig Islands. Back on terra firma, the search began for a beautiful memento to mark the adventure. When nothing quite hit the spot, a design dilemma presented itself.

The self-assigned brief was to create something unique, Irish, high quality, useful, memorable and affordable.

The answer was a sock. But not just any sock.

A colourful, beautifully made, 360-degree panorama of a place in Ireland.

Quality has been part of the brief from the beginning. Our socks are knitted for us in Europe by a family-owned mill using fine combed cotton, chosen for its softness, comfort and brilliant colour. Our yarns are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and tested for harmful substances.

Sock Co Op is our way of celebrating the places that make Ireland special,  the landmarks we recognise, the landscapes we remember and the places we love to return to.
